《修理店にて – At the Repair Shop》
① 壊れた理由の説明 (Explanation of the cause of the damage)
a.) デジタルカメラを地面に落としてしまいました。
I dropped my Digital Camera on the ground.
b.) デジタルカメラを水の中に落としてしまいました。
I dropped my Digital Camera in the water.
c.) デジタルカメラが雨で濡れてしまいました。
The rain damaged my digital camera.
② 故障箇所の説明 (Explanation of where & what the damages are)
- a) レンズにひびが入ってしまいました。
There is a crack in the lens.
- b) レンズがかけてしまいました。
There is a chip in the lens.
- c) 電源が入らなくなってしまいました。
I can’t turn on the Digital Camera.
- d) シャッターボタンが押せなくなりました。

③ 見積書の取り付け(Getting a quote of repair)
- a) 修理見積書をもらえますか。保険金請求の為に、故障内容・原因が記載された見積書が必要です。
Can I have a quote for the repairs? I require a written quote which includes the details of the repair and the reason of the damage for Insurance claim.

- a) デジタルカメラの修理が不可能なことを証明する手紙をもらえますか。保険金請求の為に、修理できない理由が記載された手紙が必要です。
Can I have a letter which proves this digital camera can’t be fixed? In order to lodge a claim to the insurance, the letter must be stated the reason why you can’t (or not recommend) to repair my digital camera. (e.g. No spare parts, not economical to repair …etc.).
